Sunday Mornings

If the whole idea of going to church on a Sunday morning is new to you, or if you already have a picture in your mind of what church is, then we hope this brief introduction will help you learn what to expect at CenterPoint on a Sunday morning which, for many people, is the first place and time to get to know us.

On Sunday mornings at CenterPoint we express our faith in Jesus Christ together.  This is a special time for us because we come together as one large “family.”  If you like music, there’s plenty of it.  People familiar with church life would call our Sunday mornings “contemporary,” meaning, our music is delivered with guitars, drums, pianos, keyboards, and just about any other musical instrument that shows up.  We read Scripture and experience biblical teaching that helps us grow in our faith and meet the many challenges we face in life.  We know we are far from perfect people.  Sunday mornings helps to reset our priorities and refuel us for the week ahead, so we can live out our faith by showing the same love for others that God showed us when He sent His son Jesus into the world.

Have kids birth through grade five?  We have a great check-in process, so you can visit assured that your child is cared for in a safe  environment. Arrive early or stay after and enjoy refreshments and good company in The Commons.
