Life Groups
We believe that life change happens best in the context of a small group of people that are committed to caring for one another and being intentional in taking next steps for growth. We all need encouragement and challenge from others to fully become all God intended us to be. Over 30 groups of all kinds meet in homes throughout the Greater Capital Region every week; they are the key places where people at all spiritual seasons take steps in building authentic relationships, reading the Bible, encouraging one another in their relationship with God and making a difference in the lives of others by serving their neighbors.
As a church we continually find inspiration from the scriptures about what it means to be a place for relationships, personal care, spiritual growth and service. The community that is described in the scriptures is what we hope every CenterPoint Life Group experiences.

What Happens in a Life Group? Most Life Groups meet every week or every other week. These smaller gatherings might include a meal or light snacks, some socializing about your week, a discussion from a book or the scriptures, authentic sharing about each other’s lives, moments for prayer, care for people’s needs and even serving to meet needs in our city. Life Group meetings last about an hour and a half to two hours. Life Groups are one of the best places for you to step into being known, cared for and challenged to take steps of growth in your relationship with God.
Growth Groups
Growth Groups are a great way to meet new friends while growing in your relationship with God. They meet at various times during the week, usually in someone’s home for 8-12 weeks, three times per year. Discussions cover a wide range of topics. Size of the groups ranges from12-15
Core Groups
Core Groups are content-driven helping you take the next steps of faith in a very specific area. They usually take place for 6-8 sessions and meet on Sunday mornings during one of the Worship Services. Size of the groups varies.
